So proud of the Coaches @parabellummma for a truly successful @grapplingindustries tournament win in Chicago. I have to admit, I had anxiety all day about it; nervously checking my phone every 30 secs. Finally, I just decided to text @snoopror and he nonchalantly dropped the facts: “4 Gold, 1 Bronze. I had 4 subs.” Then, he named all the subs without stopping for punctuation and capitalization. That was it. Just like that. I mean, I not surprised, but it was like another day at the office, could very well have been a Wednesday afternoon conversation in passing. I was elated and shouting to the roof tops and these guys were probably looking for Burgers and Deep Dish Pizza. Just goes to show that when you set your expectations high and put in the work, the outcomes are predictable.
